Der Artikel reflektiert Probleme, die sich beim Einsatz Unterstützter Kommunikation im Dialog ergeben. Basierend auf den Arbeiten der Kommunikationspsychologie werden die vier Aspekte der Sprache beim Einsatz Unterstützter Kommunikation untersucht: die Übermittlung von Sachinhalten, die Selbstoffenbarung des unterstützt Kommunizierenden, die Beziehung zwischen unterstützt Kommunizierendem und seinem Partner und die Appellfunktion der Sprache. Es zeigt sich, dass diese Aufgaben der Sprache von verschiedenen alternativen und augmentativen Kommunikationsmethoden unterschiedlich gelöst werden. Der Schwerpunkt des Artikels liegt auf der Untersuchung der Selbstoffenbarung des unterstützt Kommunizierenden und auf der Wirkung alternativer Kommunikationsmethoden auf die Beziehung der Gesprächspartner. Es wird dargestellt, wie die Einschätzung der sozialen und intellektuellen Kompetenz durch den Einsatz Unterstützter Kommunikation beeinflusst werden kann, und dass die Beziehung zwischen den Kommunikationspartnern sehr asymmetrisch ist.

Influences of alternative and augmentative communication forms on dialogue situations.

The article examines problems that arise with the implementation of Alternative and Augmentative Communication in dialogue situations. Utilizing principles of communication psychology, the author analyzes the four aspects of language involved with the use of Alternative and Augmentative Communication: the transmission of content, the self-revelation of the alternative communication user, the relationship between the user and his communication partner, and the appeal function of the language. It is shown that different methods of Alternative and Augmentative Communication solve these linguistic tasks with varying degrees of effectiveness. Emphasis is placed on investigating the self-revelation of the user of Alternative and Augmentative Communication and examining the effect of these communication methods on the relationship between the dialogue partners. The article demonstrates how estimation of social and intellectual competence is influenced by the use of Alternative and Augmentative Communication, and indicates the asymmetrical nature of the relationship between the communicating partners.
