Der Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit der Schreiblernentwicklung funktionaler Analphabeten. Im Zentrum der Betrachtung steht der Übergang von der Lautorientierung zur Normschrift. Anhand von 7 Fallstudien lautorientierter Schreiber im Alter von 16 bis 19 Jahren wurde der Übergang exploriert und Informationen über charakteristische Lernschritte gewonnen. Wesentliches Ergebnis ist, daß für den Übergang von der Lautorientierung zur Normschrift entscheidend zu sein scheint, daß Schreiber lernen, den Zeichenstrom unter dem Aspekt der Analogiebildung, also paradigmatisch, zu segmentieren.

This article deals with developing the writing ability in functional illiterates. Central to the discussion is the transformation from a phonological strategy to orthography. In 7 case studies involving males and females 16 to 19 years of age who were on a phonological stage this transformation is explored and information about typical steps of learning is extracted. One important result consists of the fact that it seems to be important in the transformation from a phonological strategy to orthography to segment words under the aspects of finding analogies that is to use a paradigmatic approach.
